WWE Wrestling: The Attitude Era
The Attitude Era is one of the best eras in the world of professional wrestling, I’m sure many of you would agree to that statement. And I am absolutely and positively sure that an epoch’s worth of today’s professional wrestling can ever replace, surpass or be equivalent with what once was the Attitude Era.
So what actually is the attitude era and why was it so great? The Attitude Era is a period of time in the WWE (then WWF or World Wrestling Federation) wherein hell was raised to be the best in the industry and mainly to compete over television rating against WCW (World Championship Wrestling). The said era (Attitude Era) made pro-wrestling fans habituated to nothing but the best, I feel that Attitude Era spoiled many fans (including myself), to the extent that its quite hard to let go of it even in memory, like the way you can’t forget your first real kiss, or that time Mick Foley clapped your hand as he made his entrance. Let me give you a few simple reasons why the Attitude Era is simply the best era in the world of Professional Wrestling. (more…)
