Triple H and Stephanie McMaho

You may think that the World Wrestling Entertainment is a world of helter-skelter, a whirling mass of dementia wherein everyone and everything that exists is bound to clash and engage in eternal combat. But you are wrong, because love (yes I said LOVE) exists in WWE, you might find it highly improbable, but actually it is very much plausible. Love birds have nested in WWE, and though you may not be able to get a whiff of it, love truly is in the air in WWE. So, skeptical or not, here are some of the couples that found love in a world of battle.

  • Triple H and Stephanie McMahon- the two started out as onscreen lovers, who conspired together against Stone Cold Steve Austin. they plotted Stephanie being kidnapped by Triple H and Stone old rescuing Stephanie, only to make a drastic turn of events as Stephanie reveals her affection for Triple H. Ever since then, the couple became public and married in front of the audience. They also got married later on in real life, and are now proud parents of two children.
  • Matt Hardy and Lita- the two started out as independent or solo professional wrestler, then later on the two was put together alongside Matt Hardy’s brother, Jeff Hardy. The trio was named Team, an affiliation that put Matt and Lita’s relationship more intimate than just being team-mates, on screen and off screen.
  • Edge and Lita- Lita was a diva and everyone recognized that, she even managed to capture the heart of the Rated R superstar. The duo were not just lovers, they were also partners in crime, wherein Lita did whatever it takes to make sure that her man gets what he wants, and vice versa. The couples were hated by many fans, but that didn’t stop the on screen relationship; they are one of the most controversial couples in all of WWE’s history.
  • Jeff Hardy and Trish Stratus- the Hardy Boyz brothers aren’t just good in wrestling, they were also good with the boys, capturing not just fans and supporters but also hearts of the ladies. Jeff won Trish’s heart after saving her from an unjust match, ever since then, the two were always seen back stage talking and kissing. The two were also put together as a team in several matches. The onscreen relationship didn’t last very long for Jeff Hardy was made to leave WWE for several different issues.
  • Stone Cold Steve Austin and Debra- the two were a sensational couple, appearing together as Debra accompanied Stone Cold to his matches. The two tied the knot, taking their romance on and off screen, after which, the married couple took a break from their careers.
  • Carlito and Torie Wilson- the couple were usually seen either back stage or on stage, appearing with Ric Flair, who was then Carlito’s tag team partner. The onscreen relationship however was cut short after Torrie was drafted from Raw to SmackDown during the 2007 WWE Draft.

Dozens more couples were united in the midst of the nether region which is the WWE. These couples are amongst the most popular lovers in all of the WWE history.
